Zul Nordin Penipu?

[FMT] PKR secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution has turned the tables on controversial fellow MP Zulkifli Noordin and accused him of ‘lying’ about the selection of the date for the latter’s disciplinary hearing.
Speaking to FMT, Saifuddin said Zulkifli was given notice on Feb 8 to attend the disciplinary hearing which was fixed for today (Feb 18).
“He had ample time to revert to us but chose to inform the party that he could attend the hearing just hours before his flight to South Korea yesterday for a leadership conference,” said Saifuddin.
Saifuddin also dismissed Zulkifli’s allegation that the party was well aware of his trip and that it had deliberately fixed it such that the date clashed with his trip.
Saifuddin said: “The invitation was sent out by a Korean body to all parliamentarians. The invitation was optional. Those who had spare time on their hands were free to go.
“We could not know which MP would want to go and when they would leave. Zulkifli is not telling the truth. But for (direct) language, I would say he was lying.”
Zulkifli yesterday questioned the motive of the PKR disciplinary board in fixing the date of his hearing for today despite the fact he would be in Korea attending the leadership conference until Feb 25.
The Kulim-Bandar Baru parliamentarian claimed the selection of the date was maliciously done and several of his party colleagues were out to topple him.
However, Saifuddin said the party was keeping its options open when asked if the disciplinary board would proceed without Zulkifli’s presence.
“They have a standard procedure and clear guidelines and I believe board members would be judicious when arriving at a decision on this matter,” he said.
“It is possible for the board not to go on without Zulkifli’s presence but at the same time it is also possible for them to proceed with the hearing based on the evidence gathered thus far.
“As secretary-general, I can say that the board is professional when it comes to tackling these types of cases as it is not the first time they have handled such matters,” he said.
Saifuddin was also asked to comment on Zulkifli’s allegation that the party is not taking any action against PKR Wangsa Maju MP Wee Choo Keong and Zaid Ibrahim for their public criticisms against other Pakatan colleagues.
“How would he know that we are not taking any action against these two?” he retorted.
