[DC] A 28-year-old man cried out loud and slapped himself when police caught him naked in a room with a prostitute.

He also admitted that he was wrong and apologised to his mother and company.

Last week, a police team in China carried out a series of anti-vice operation at six prostitution hubs in Guangxi.

When they raided a spa centre, they heard a voice in a room saying: "Faster put on your clothes."

And when they stormed into the room, they saw a man and a woman in nude.

Upon knowing he was caught red-handed, the man in the room sat on the bed and cried.

The man also slapped himself eight times on the face, telling police that it was his first time there.

"I drank a little and was feeling dizzy. Then I remembered some people said sauna can help to sober me up and I come... I'm sorry mother," he said.

The woman, who was also in tears, told police that she had worked at the spa centre for two months and was paid 100-odd yuan (RM47) for each customer. - Agencies
