Si mangsa seorang chef berusia 59 tahun pengsan kerana terlalu mabuk (salah satu sebab Islam mengharamkan umatnya meneguk arak). Malangnya, rakan (rakan-rakan)nya yang pendek akal/kejam memasukkan seekor belut ke dalam duburnya.

Si mangsa kemudiannya dibawa ke Hospital Sinchuan kerana mengadu sakit di bahagian perut, dehidrasi, dan mengalami pendarahan serius di bahagian dubur.

Menurut doktor, walaupun ketika dikeluarkan belut itu sudah mati, namun belut sepanjang 20 inci yang "bersarang" di rektum mangsa telah menghuru-harakan dan merosakkan usus dan organ yang berkaitan.

Selepas 10 hari menerima rawatan di unit rawatan rapi, lelaki malang ini meninggal dunia disebabkan pendarahan dan jangkitan kuman yang serius.

Eel in rectum prank fatal for chef
[DC] A chef with possibly the worst friends in the world died after a live eel shoved up his rectum as a prank when he was passed out drunk gnawed through his guts.

The 59-year-old man, a chef, was reportedly taken to a Sichuan hospital complaining of abdominal pain, dehydration and a great deal of anal bleeding. He was soon diagnosed as being in a severe state of shock.

Doctors mystified by the man's abdominal pain and anal bleeding cut him open and were astonished to find the 20-inch eel lodged in his rectum.

Though dead, the eel had apparently already wrought havoc on his innards, biting its way through his intestines prior to dying. Internal bleeding and infection rapidly set in.

The patient died after 10 days in intensive care. Police are investigating, and the "friends" are likely to face charges.

The likely cause was eventually established - he had apparently been drinking with friends, and had passed out. His friends had decided it would be amusing to insert a live eel into his anus whilst he was comatose.
